We love a good differential pick here at FF92 and we are BACK once again with our another crack at the Waiver Wire in 2022/23! Here are some low ownership assets that should serve you well in Gameweek 6 and beyond…
Armel Bella Kotchap – Southampton – Defender – 14% rostered
A fantastic name and (on early viewing) an even better player! Southampton have a habit of unearthing useful players that no one has ever heard of and Armel Bella Kotchap could be their latest find.
Their new centre back looked like a rock against Manchester United in GW4 and scored 8.25 points in the loss. His contribution in the win against Chelsea wasn’t as fruitful Fantrax wise but he should be very useful against goal shy Wolves this week in a busy afternoon that has a high chance of yielding a clean sheet.
Morgan Gibbs White – Nottingham Forest – Midfielder – 34% rostered
Those with Forest assets will be delighted to get the trip to Manchester City out of the way last week as they now embark on a favourable run of fixtures.
It’s hard to pick out who their best assets will be for the run (mainly because their squad now consists of roughly 300 players) but his set pieces and place in the number 10 role gives Morgan Gibbs White a chance to be that guy. His numbers haven’t been the best this season but if he’s available in your league he should be worth that gamble in your final midfielder slot.
Adam Armstrong – Southampton – Forward – 3% rostered
Is Adam Armstrong finally demonstrating he can be a clinical striker at the top level? The Southampton front man lit up the championship with Coventry City but really struggled to find his feet at St Mary’s last season.
He was starting to become a bit of a forgotten man but a sharp display against Manchester United was followed up with a well taken winning goal against Chelsea in midweek. A partnership with Che Adams could prove deadly and they’ll be looking forward to taking on a winless Wolves side this weekend at the Molineux.
