We love a good differential pick here at FF92 and we are BACK once again with our another crack at the Waiver Wire in 2022/23! Here are some low ownership assets that should serve you well in Gameweek 4 and beyond…
Joe Gomez – Liverpool – Defender – 28% rostered
Yes, the first draft of this article was penned before Liverpool’s ill-fated trip to Old Trafford where Joe Gomez and co toiled against an equally confidence-lacking Manchester United side.
A home game against newly promoted Bournemouth can’t come soon enough for a beleaguered, winless Reds outfit and the back five will look forward to what should be a much quieter day at the office. With Matip and Konate still out injured, Gomez should keep his place and should score well in GW4.
Moussa Djenepo – Southampton – Midfielder – 26% rostered
Moussa Djenepo’s comeback season continues! The Saints winger has returned rejuvenated and looks to have been given a new lease of life in a Saints side that is doing better than most expected after an opening day drubbing at home to Tottenham.
Scores of 12, 14 and 9.5 have ensured Djenepo is a solid yet unspectacular pick so far but you feel with that solid base level of points he could explode when he does get an attacking return or two. He should start in what could be an open game at home to Manchester United.
If Djenepo isn’t your cup of tea then take a look at the returning Joao Moutinho who got himself 10 points in a comeback appearance that lasted just short of an hour on Saturday against Spurs.
Che Adams – Southampton – Forward – 29% rostered
We finish with another Southampton star in GW3 hero Che Adams! He looked all but out of the door with rumours of an exit and the arrival of Sekou Mara at St Mary’s. However, his timely match winning brace against Leicester reminded his manager just how important Adams can be to this side and also what a useful Fantrax asset he can be. If you’re after a third forward, Adams could be your man this week.
Also, Gonçalo Guedes is available in 48% of Fantrax leagues right now…this needs fixing! The new Wolves man looks like the second coming of Pedro Neto. If he’s available in your league, you need to snap him up, now!
