The Waiver Wire: Gameweek 24

Those who think Fantrax Leagues are won and lost at the draft are wrong. Very wrong.

In fact this is where the winners will be winners because of their sharp eye for a bargain and the losers will be losers because…well, they ignore the Waiver Wire.

Each week, we will analyse those low ownership players that could win you your match up or even become a mainstay in your roster for weeks and months. Here is what the Gameweek 24 Waiver Wire has to offer

Connor Roberts – Burnley – Defender

This spot was set to belong to West Ham’s Kurt Zouma before he picked up another injury in the FA cup on Saturday. Instead, Connor Roberts is our defensive pick this week.

The Burnley back line has picked itself up to now but Roberts could’ve made the right back spot his own after impressing during back to back clean sheets for his side. He may not be one to use over the next couple of tough looking fixtures but with plenty of double gameweeks to come he’s one to stash for the future.

Milot Rashica – Norwich City – Midfielder

After a decent run of recent form and a perfect result in the recent game between Burnley and Watford, Norwich City will be thinking there’s actually a chance they could pull off the great escape this season.

Milot Rashica has been their best attacking player for much of the season and is easily their top creative outlet. There will be a lot of pressure on him to continue to deliver but he will fancy his chances of more goal involvements in their upcoming game at home to Crystal Palace.

Anthony Gordon – Everton – Forward

Even when times have been tough at Everton, youngster Anthony Gordon has often been one of the few shining lights in his break out season.

Gordon came on in the 55th minute of the loss against Aston Villa and scored 11 points in Avery useful cameo. For all his managerial faults, Frank Lampard is well known for getting the best out of his young players and Gordon could benefit further from the new appointment at Goodison Park.
