Those who think Fantrax Leagues are won and lost at the draft are wrong. Very wrong.
In fact this is where the winners will be winners because of their sharp eye for a bargain and the losers will be losers because…well, they ignore the Waiver Wire.
Each week, we will analyse those low ownership players that could win you your match up or even become a mainstay in your roster for weeks and months. Here is what the Gameweek 32 Waiver Wire has to offer.
Callum Chambers | Defender | Arsenal | 13% Owned
Hector Bellerin seems to be the Europa League right back at Arsenal, meaning Callum Chambers gets the gig in the league. This is great news for Fantasy managers as Chambers is a far better Fantasy asset. His aerial strength, aggressive defensive style and willingness to go forward make him a very good asset, seeing him fill up all areas of the stat sheet. A winnable game at home to his former side Fulham this weekend makes him a good target in this week’s waivers.
Giovani Lo Celso | Midfielder | Tottenham | 38% Owned
Tottenham have a decent looking double this weekend with Everton and Southampton on the horizon in GW32. In fact, they’re the only team with the double so you’d do worse than getting a couple of their more gettable players on your roster. Giovani Lo Celso hasn’t scored too well since his return from injury but his return of 8 points in 60 minutes vs United was encouraging. Jose seems to like him so should start him in both outings, meaning a minimum of 10 points without possibilities of high upside makes him a decent midfield pick.
Callum Hudson Odoi | Forward | Chelsea | 43% Owned
The second Callum to feature in this article, Hudson Odoi was electrifying on his return to the Chelsea XI vs Crystal Palace. Filling in for Reece James at RWB, CHO was the most threatening attacker, providing an assist for Kai Havertz in a 19.5 point haul. You’d expect James to get the nod in the Champions League In midweek, leaving CHO to continue in a favourable fixture against Brighton in GW32
