FPL Previews: Gameweek 29 – Sunday

#WFC 🐝 v #LCFC 🦊

Watford welcome prizes FPL asset Jose Holebas back as they look to banish the memories of another torrid night at Anfield last week. Front pairing Troy Deeney and Gerard Deulofeu will fancy their chances against a Leicester City defence that has failed to keep a clean sheet since New Years Day. There should be plenty of goals in this one.

⭐️ Star man: Gerard Deulofeu
🎲 Differential Pick: Will Hughes

Brendan Rodgers will pick his first Leicester City side having watched the Foxes win 2-1 against Brighton in midweek. Where he makes changes is unclear but few changes are expected. Daniel Amartey and Marc Albrighton remain out.

⭐️ Star Pick: James Maddison
🎲 Differential Pick: Harvey Barnes

Another new manager takes to the dugout this weekend as Scott Parker becomes the third man to try to work out the conundrum that is Fulham FC. Few will expect him to get The Cottagers out of this mess. If he does, he can expect plenty of job offers this summer. Parker is likely to be without former Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle. What he does with the rest is anyone’s guess. Ryan Babel and Aleksandar Mitrovic continue to look like their best FPL assets.

⭐️ Star Pick: Aleksandar Mitrovic
🎲 Differential Pick: Callum Chambers

Mauricio Sarri has no new selection worries (assuming that it is himself who picks the team). All eyes will be on who takes the number one jersey as the Kepa saga rumbles on. Willy Caballero did himself no harm in the week with a clean sheet against Tottenham. The other point of interest is the focal point of the time as Sarri once again hinted that Gonzalo Higuain lacks fitness. Eden Hazard at false 9 doesn’t look unlikely.

⭐️ Star Pick: Eden Hazard
🎲 Differential Pick: Emerson Palmieri

The Merseyside Derby is rarely a classic in terms of quality. This Sunday’s affair promises to be no different as Everton look to derail their arch rivals title hopes. Andre Gomes is fit to start. Whether he’s considered ready for the Derby atmosphere is another matter. Dominic Calvert Lewis should keep his place up front after scoring at Cardiff.

⭐️ Star Pick: Gylfi Sigurdsson
🎲 Differential Pick: Dominic Calvert Lewis

Roberto Firmino’s fitness is the major concern in the red corner. The Brazilian has half a chance of making it but won’t be risked if not 100% fit, thanks partly to Divock Origi’s midweek performance. Sadio Mane will play down the middle with Origi taking the wide berth if Firmino doesn’t make it. Dejan Lovren should also be back in contention for this must win clash. Should be a cracker, this one.

⭐️ Star Pick: Sadio Mane
🎲 Differential Pick: James Milner
